Written by Aziaha Robinson, The Eagle Senior Writer

“I think the most rewarding thing about teaching for me, is being able to see my students grow, and develop over time.” says Herr Bradley, middle school teacher. Bradley is a German teacher here at Obama and has been for a total of six years.

Before becoming a teacher, he was a business manager for the army, and was stationed in Germany. When asked what influenced the start of his teaching career Bradley stated that his older brother who was also a teacher suggested that he teach German. “I think one of the most important things that I can share with my students is not only my knowledge of the German language, but my experiences,” he comments.

He also states that in his free time he enjoys singing, watching old films, listening to music, playing chess, and spending time with his grandchildren. When asked for one piece of advice he’d give to each of his students regarding being successful he stated: “Things happen in life that provide a lot of opportunities, so if you work hard, keep your options open, and challenge yourself; everything will fall into place.”
