Aneesah Shealey: Lining up as a remedy?

Written by Aneesah Shealey, The Eagle Staff Reporter

Recently, the Obama 6th graders have been unwillingly forced to walk in lines and I as a 6th grader, detest the fact that we have to walk like a bunch of kindergarten babies.

It’s sad that some kids don’t know how to behave in school, but why punish us as a whole student body? I mean, it’s not my fault that one kid won’t shut up and listen to the teacher. It seems like most of us are scapegoats for the bad children.

You don’t blame the atmosphere when it rains, even though it has no control over what it’s doing.

It’s so unfair that we (the scapegoats) have to be punished. It’s maddening. If we don’t want to walk in lines, we as a 6th grade should be able to do something differently.

That’s how I see it, but what about you?
