Hillary Clinton is known for making strides in women’s rights and feminism. She is a well known politician who doesn’t hesitate to speak up for what she believes in (without interrupting every 5 words). She has been many firsts. She has been the first lady to Bill Clinton and now, the first woman to win the Democratic nomination.

Born in Chicago Illinois, Clinton is the oldest of multiple kids in her family. Throughout her entire life, She was very prominent in the political world and continued to advocate her beliefs to the people. After college she married Bill Clinton (our 42nd president).
You could say that Hillary Clinton is a well accomplished democrat. But actually, she once thought of herself as a republican. At about the end of her college career, Clinton switched to the democratic party due to her now thought out beliefs. Some of the main things she advocates for are education for children health benefits; overall believes in our future.

Hillary constantly says, “women’s rights are human rights” and obviously does everything she can to help women in this society. She also feels strongly about common sense gun laws, which she plans to fix in her presidency. She notices the multiple deaths in todays society and doesn’t condone to the violence. She doesn’t say she wants to ban all guns; she rather wants to enforce more laws that would require backgroud checks on the person purchasing the gun.

Thi was a brief description of your democratic nominee for this years election. Hopefully that gave you a great personal insight on Hillary Clinton and her platform.
