It was Senior Night here at Obama Academy and the Obama Eagles faced the Langley Mustangs on Tuesday. It was time for the seniors to show the rest of the young guys how it was done. The starting lineup was Shane Washington, Canaan Reid, Dante Forte, Tyric Harrison and they had a little help from sophomore DJ Porter. The Mustangs came in with heat but the Eagles cooled them off quickly.

The Eagles kept the lead throughout the game and were even up by at least 20 points at half time. The honoring of our seniors was the main event. As they walked through the tunnel of cheerleaders, they had family and friends with them, arm in arm. These seniors made it all look easy. Canan Reid, who had a great game, added 25 points to the scoreboard, helping the Eagles pull off a victory against The Langley Mustangs.

DJ Porter contributed to the score by putting up 17 points for the Eagles. The final score of the game was 83 to 52.
