Congratulations go out to Coach Roa and the Obama wrestlers on a 3rd place finish in the City League wrestling championships, which were held Saturday at Carrick High. Obama’s Neondre Harbour won a gold medal in the 285 pound class with a 15-2 decision over Allderdice’s Sam Davis. D’Andre Caviness took gold at the 170 pound category, as he decisioned Michael Hale of ‘Dice. Meanwhile, Neamia Hobdy also won gold at 160 by pinning Delrick Caldwell of Langley.

Malik Green settled for a silver, after losing his title match to Dorian Devaughn-Long of Allderdice in the 113 pound division. Michael Adams took 3rd and a bronze in the 145 pound category.
