Ever want to be a published author? Well, here’s your chance

If you have ever wanted to be a published author and you are a high school student in Allegheny County, then you’re in luck Because Carnegie Libraries all over Pittsburgh are giving you the chance. This year Ralph Munn Creative Writing Contest has started and entries are due May 1st.

You can enter one short story, poetry piece, or screen play to win a cash prize. First place wins $250 and second place wins $100. Prizes will be awarded in each category. The Contest rules are that the contest is open to high school student in Allegheny County only. There cannot be more than one entry per person and entries must not exceed 5,000 words.
