The Steelers played the Cleveland Browns on October 28, 2018 for the rematch of the first game of the season. The first time they played, neither the Browns nor the Steelers won the game.

They ended up with a tie. When the Steelers played them this past Sunday, the scored ended up 33-18. It was a good game for the Steelers, but a bad game for the Cleveland Browns. James Conner now has 1,369 rushing yards, 738 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns. Le’Veon Bell ended last year season with 1,209 rushing yards, 655 receiving yards, and 11 touchdowns. As you already see, James Conner is already having a better season than Bell and the season just started; we are only 7 games in-almost half this season.

James Conner had 212 yards against the Browns. The NFL named him player of the week for the AFC Conference. This proves that the Steelers are capable of winning a game without Bell. James can do anything Bell can do and fans are just starting to realize that he is not a bad player; he is actually number three in leading the NFL in rushing yards right now. James can run the ball, but he can also catch the ball. He has a lot of receiving yards.

People still look at him as an underdog, but I think he is like any other starting running back. He has a good background starting with how he survived cancer. Also he went to Pitt for college and now he plays for Pittsburgh in the NFL. James talked about how happy he was when the fans in the stands were cheering “CON-ner CON-ner.” Nobody ever chanted Bell’s name. I feel like they will never chant his name because he wasn’t the underdog in this situation. James is still working on his legacy; he has a lot to overcome and can be a legend.
