It’s Friday. You’re scrambling to make last-minute plans with your friends for after school. Maybe it’s Chipotle. Maybe it’s a movie. Or maybe you’re looking for something to switch up the routine. If this is the case, consider making the short trek to the zoo, where a brand new species has just been added.

The capybara is the largest rodent in the world, clocking in at around 2½ feet tall and 150 pounds in weight, and Lysa, Melisandre, and Varys – named after characters from Game of Thrones – are now on display at the Jungle Odyssey habitat of the zoo, less than a ten minute drive from Obama. Originating from Central and South America, these beasts live up to 12 years and each take three keepers to lift. Consider paying them a visit if you have some time to kill.
