“When I was looking at the electives list before school started in ninth grade and I saw the option for a journalism class, I was ecstatic. Writing has always been something that I genuinely enjoy and want to pursue, so when I heard about the Eagle, I was inspired to contribute as many articles as I could. A few months later, I was an editor, and the rest, as they say, is history. I'm proud of what we've accomplished since then—a new website, more consistent and higher quality writing from all our staff, a wider readership, even a print edition—and I can't wait to keep improving!”
